Dear Fellow Club Members:

It’s the beginning of that “Welcome Back” time of year for our Snowbirders and those indefatigable travelers; so great to see all the familiar faces again!

News Flash! Reserve now for our October 10 Parrothead Party and VYCCF Fundraiser. This annual fall fundraiser (along with our legendary bike/walk event in February) funds the many local and worthwhile charities our Foundation supports. This special evening will have it all—from Jimmy Buffet tunes as you arrive to the final Key Lime Pie Shooter! Music will be provided by the Lefty Lucy Band.

Another “mark your calendar” event will be on November 7 for our annual Donor Appreciation evening from 5:30-7:00. A brief presentation will be made to the final grant recipients for 2024: the Sea Scouts Ship 777, Operation Warrior Resolution, and Toys for Tots. Reserve now to show your support.

At the time of printing this newsletter, your VYCCF has made grants totaling $130,000 to 22 charitable organizations. Speaking of giving, consider the RMD (required minimum distribution) program. Funds sent via this program are tax free as long as the recipient is a 501c3—and the VYCCF has this designation.
